DIY HEART GARLAND

I decided that I probably could have included the diy details for the heart garland in my previous post.  It’s kind of seasonal, but could be used for different occasions (valentines day obvs, birthday parties, baby showers, wedding showers…)

Here’s how to do it:
1.  Cut hearts out of felt.  Mine are about 3” tall.  I didn’t follow any kind of a template.  I’m okay with them being a bit random.

2.  Sew through the center of each heart (with your sewing machine).  Leave the thread attached and pull to make a space of about 3 or 4 inches, then start sewing the next heart.

Voila!  Easy!

And if you don’t have a sewing machine, or you aren’t into making stuff, you can buy felt heart garlands here.  They are made from vintage sweaters, which is super cool.
