MONDAY INSPIRATION: KITCHEN IDEAS

High up on my list of projects for 2012 is to give my kitchen a bit of a fix-up.  Not really a full reno, more of a cosmetic update.  I’m in the process of narrowing down ideas.

Common themes that I'm LOVING:  subway tile, brass hardware, and open shelving…

  6. That kitchen is so good. It's my dream kitchen. I am holding myself back from painting our orangeish wood cabinet b/c there are so many more pressing projects for our house. But man is it hard! can't wait to see what you do!!

  8. I love every single image. I agree that the subway tiles are the way to go in any kitchen since they never go out of style. I'm also glad to see that people are mixing stainless with brass because I was a bit unsure about that. Lovely!!

  9. You know how I feel about subway tile! I'm very happy with the way they transformed my kitchen backsplash. I think the brass is such an awesome departure from all of the brushed nickel etc of the past few years. Very refreshing!
