High up on my list of projects for 2012 is to give my kitchen a bit of a fix-up. Not really a full reno, more of a cosmetic update. I’m in the process of narrowing down ideas.
Common themes that I'm LOVING: subway tile, brass hardware, and open shelving…
(I know I’ve posted that kitchen already… but it’s just SO GOOD!)

YES!!! Love all of those ideas...light and bright kitchens are my favorite right now...add a little interest with the touches of brass and the subway tile and viola! Fabulous kitchen (c: Good luck with the mini reno!
ReplyDeleteLOVING subway tile right now!! Thinking about doing it in my own kitchen! I think it would make a huge difference and brighten things up.

I love your narrowed down looks! Subway tile and brass is beyond amazing!! I love the open shelves but I have wayyyy too much stuff to pull it off. And that last kitchen is PERFECTION!!!! xoxo e&a
ReplyDeleteI love every single image. I agree that the subway tiles are the way to go in any kitchen since they never go out of style. I'm also glad to see that people are mixing stainless with brass because I was a bit unsure about that. Lovely!!
ReplyDeleteYou know how I feel about subway tile! I'm very happy with the way they transformed my kitchen backsplash. I think the brass is such an awesome departure from all of the brushed nickel etc of the past few years. Very refreshing!
ReplyDeleteMy kitchen needs a little love, too. We've got similar taste!
ReplyDeletea fireplace in the kitchen *sigh*
ReplyDeleteI love the white subway tile in the kitchen. You can never go wrong with white subway tile! :)
