My little guy coloured on my ottoman the other day. Yep. The one that took me for-e-ver to make. :( Thankfully he used washable marker and it wiped off without a trace. Boys.
I feel like it is my Kid's goal in this life to destroy anything that I love. Derek's Eames chair has little dents on it (thanks William), my sofa cushions are fraying and misshapen (I swear Ella folds them into origami shapes while she is on the couch and then sits on them), and there is food splattered on my super cool white kitchen chairs...borsht as a matter of fact. Thank-you Evangeline!
Oh well....good thing stuff doesn't matter! Glad the pen came out in the wash!
Oh geez!!! I don't have children yet but I know they will go crazy with pens, pencils, crayons, etc...bc I used to color all over the walls in my parent's home. Karma!! Glad it washed out! Xo Elizabeth
you make me laugh :) Just plugging in all the gorgeous photos of your place into the new before and after section on the blog... how did the simply white work out on the cabinetry?
Crazy kids. Today I was washing the walls and baseboards because there was "stuff" all over the walls. When the sun came out you could see all the fingerprints and splashes of "who knows what" all over the walls!
How funny! So glad it washed out easily. I would have freaked out. But then again, I don't have kids yet!

Phew! Thank goodness is right!! We have all been there:)
ReplyDeleteGotta love the washability of white! I actually did the same thing when I sat on a pen on our white sofa a while back.
ReplyDeleteYep, they're crafty little agents. They've tagged one of my white chairs and I can't remove it...going in their permanent file. Glad yours came out.
