My kilim arrived on Friday! I LOVE it!!! I ordered it from an ebay seller in Turkey, and I have to admit I was a little bit nervous that it wouldn’t be what I expected when it arrived… but it is perfect! According to the listing it is 80 years old, made of natural wool, and vegetable dyed. The colors are so gorgeous! Just what I wanted. It arrived in less than 2 weeks, which also surprised me. Here’s a close-up:

Carissa! Oh my gosh it's beautiful! The colors are so vibrant. It looks wonderful in your living room.
ReplyDeleteCarissa! I think it looks perfect in the room, its very urban chick! We just did a post about how to achieve an "urban chic" (www.eieihome.com/blog/how-to-decorate-with-black.html) look and i think you nailed it! Would it be possible if you did a "sourcing list" for this room? Im really interested in the curtains, love the chevron pattern
ReplyDeletewow...It looks so wonderful in your room! Love all the colour & the design is so creative! The whole room just clicks! Happy for you!
