My new/old luggage

I found this great luggage set at my neighbor's garage sale. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it. I think it's probably from the '70's because my parents used to have suitcases like this when I was a kid. I always thought that they were so stylish! Don't even get me started on the makeup case with the built in organizers! Jackie (my auntie) would bring hers home from university, and my sister and I would watch her whole makeup routine with complete fascination.
Anyways, I think Jeff was a little annoyed when I brought home five old suitcases... But even he agreed that they were kind of perfect for packing up for the lake this week!

  5. Carissa, I bought two that look identical at Orland McInnes's garage sale in Climax. I gave them to Mareena, as she likes red. She put a Christmas tree in one last Christmas, looked good. Enjoy your find!!

  8. Great find! I bought a medium size suitcase (same style, same era) in a really pretty blue for my daughter. She's like me, and has a thing for old suitcases!

  9. Those are pretty stylish old luggage. You’re lucky you spotted these right away before anyone could take them. I think these are durable and can load up a lot of stuff. They’re perfect for long travels. ->Yon Vann
